Friendship brings us together. We want that connection to make a difference beyond our own circle, too.
Through Furshore, we plan to support Furkids and Lost-n-Found Youth—two Georgia organizations helping animals and young people find care and safety.
PART OF OUR MISSION
FANG exists to help people find friendship, express themselves, and feel they belong. As our community grows, we want to bring that same spirit of care to charitable causes.
The aim is to turn the enthusiasm behind our gatherings into opportunities to raise funds, learn about the work charities do, and make a useful contribution together.
Our planned sponsor program shares that purpose: after disclosed production and organization expenses, FANG plans to donate 100% of the remaining sponsorship proceeds to Furkids and Lost-n-Found Youth in honor of our sponsors. Recognition under a name or fursona is opt-in, and sponsors may remain anonymous.

Our plan is straightforward: after covering Furshore’s event costs, all remaining proceeds would be donated to Furkids and Lost-n-Found Youth.
Furshore is currently an interest check for a proposed 21+ lakefront mini-con. A large lakefront property is under consideration, potentially in Dawsonville or elsewhere depending on feasibility. The venue and location have not been finalized. Dates, packages, and final costs are still being worked out. No payment or commitment is being requested yet.

ANIMAL RESCUE · CUMMING, GEORGIA
Furkids rescues homeless cats and dogs, provides medical care and a nurturing environment, and helps them find permanent homes.
Its work includes shelter, adoption, foster care, and support for animals with medical and special needs. The aim is to help animals recover and give them a chance at a safe, loving home.
LGBTQ+ YOUTH SUPPORT · ATLANTA, GEORGIA
Lost-n-Found Youth supports LGBTQ+ young people experiencing homelessness in Atlanta, helping them access safety, shelter, and the support to live independently.
Its work includes street outreach, a youth center, and transitional housing. The organization’s vision is for young people to feel safe and supported while living as themselves.
IT STARTS WITH PEOPLE
Furshore will need helping paws for cooking and grilling, check-in, activities, setup, and cleanup. We’re also interested in volunteer DJs and people who can help with sound, lighting, or other equipment.
