FANG & FIA · COMMUNITY RULES

Good company.
Respect the pack.

We’re here to make friends, bring people together, and have a good time. A little chaos is welcome. Disrespect isn’t.

FOR THE WHOLE PACK

Community rules.

These rules apply across FANG and its subdivision, FIA (Fursuiting in Atlanta), including chats, outings, and community-related DMs.

Respect people and their boundaries.

No discrimination, threats, harassment, or unwanted advances—in our chats, at events, or in DMs arising from this community. Friendly banter is welcome, but stop when someone is uncomfortable, asks you to stop, or disengages. Membership, shared socials, flirting, or appearance does not establish consent.

Protect everyone’s privacy.

Do not share personal information, private conversations, photos, or private event addresses beyond their intended audience without permission. Confidentially sharing relevant evidence with moderators or appropriate authorities to report a concern is permitted.

Get approval for sales and promotions.

Business promotions, commission advertisements, sales posts, fundraising, referral links, and similar solicitations require prior, express, joint approval from the FANG directors, subject to the approval policy below. Do not use the member list for unsolicited sales or fundraising DMs. Artwork, hobbies, and personal socials are welcome; disguised sales pitches are not.

Disclose compensation and personal benefits.

Promotion that could earn you money, commissions, referral rewards, free admission, gifts, discounts, or other benefits requires prior approval under the same policy. Clearly disclose your connection and potential benefit, including when promoting something for a friend or business partner. Disclosure does not replace approval.

Respect community boundaries.

Organized recruitment, mass invitations to other groups, and creating subgroups, sister chats, or offshoots using FANG, its name, or its member list require prior, express, joint consent from the FANG directors, subject to the approval policy below. Never imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement without permission. Members are free to join other communities, make friends, and arrange personal hangouts; this policy concerns organized recruitment and community offshoots.

Keep disagreements respectful.

No scams, spam, public dogpiling, or encouraging others to target someone. Bring safety concerns and moderation issues to the directors privately, with relevant context. Raising concerns in good faith is welcome. Retaliation is not.

Handle crisis topics with care.

You may share that you are struggling and ask for support. Do not post graphic descriptions or images, instructions or method details, or content encouraging or glorifying self-harm or suicide. Never use threats of self-harm to pressure someone to reply, maintain contact, keep secrets, or override boundaries. Do not encourage self-harm, ridicule distress, or turn these topics into a running group joke.

FANG is a social community and cannot provide emergency care or guarantee an immediate response. Moderators may remove unsafe content, redirect urgent crisis discussions out of the main chat, and help members find appropriate support. Members are not expected to manage someone’s crisis. Asking for help in good faith is not, by itself, a rule violation. Treat people who are struggling with compassion.

Make room for each other in the venting chat.

You can share difficult experiences and ongoing struggles. Give others room: do not flood the chat, repeatedly repost the same vent, or repeatedly tag or message people to demand a response. Moderators may ask you to consolidate updates, slow down, or pause when posting dominates the space.

Support is voluntary. Ask before taking a heavy conversation into someone’s DMs and respect their answer. Nobody owes immediate replies, repeated reassurance, or ongoing availability. Respect moderator requests to pause or redirect; continuing after boundaries have been explained may lead to moderation. The crisis-content rules apply here too. Struggling is not misconduct; make room for others to step back.

FIA · FURSUITING IN ATLANTA

FIA & fursuiting outings.

The community rules above apply here too. These additional guidelines help everyone enjoy the outing—whether you suit, handle, take photos, or come along as yourself.

A shared approach to community safety.

FIA is part of the FANG community network. Our teams coordinate verification, moderation, and access checks across connected chats to keep the community welcoming and help prevent harassment, spam, and ban evasion. Safety restrictions and moderation decisions may apply across FANG spaces. If a community access check affects you, contact the team for help.

Join the conversations that interest you and participate at your own pace. Suiters, handlers, photographers, and friends are welcome; no fursuit is required.

Ask before touching or photographing.

Ask before hugs, touching, picking someone up, or handling their suit. Never pull tails, ears, or accessories. A costume, pose, joke, or previous interaction is not ongoing consent. Respect anyone who declines photos or recording. Ask before photographing someone out of suit, during breaks, or in changing areas, and before sharing identifiable photos beyond their intended audience.

Look out for each other.

Give suiters space to see, move, cool down, and take breaks. Never pressure anyone to stay in suit, keep their head on, or continue when they need to stop. Follow handlers’ safety guidance, keep exits and walkways clear, and alert the organizer or venue staff promptly when someone needs help.

Be a good guest.

Read the pins and outing details. Follow venue policies, staff directions, and organizer guidance. Confirm that fursuiting and photography are permitted. Keep behavior, outfits, and props appropriate for the venue and audience. Do not trespass, disrupt guests, damage property, or argue with staff; cooperate if asked to stop or leave.

Keep FIA useful and welcoming.

Outing ideas, planning, questions, photos, and friendly conversation are welcome. Do not bury plans in spam. No gatekeeping over suit ownership, maker, cost, experience, or appearance. Personal hangouts are welcome; promotions, recruitment, and claims of official endorsement follow the main rules above. Bring concerns privately to FIA staff or the FANG directors.

APPROVAL & ENFORCEMENT

Clear expectations.
A shared community.

Requests requiring approval must receive the FANG directors’ express, joint agreement, unless independently approved by Major. Silence, unanswered requests, or permission for a different post or event do not count as approval.

As FANG’s owning director, Major retains final authority and may independently approve requests or veto decisions, including those otherwise approved by the directors. Major’s express approval does not require additional director consent.

Moderators may remove content, restrict participation, or remove members for violations. Serious violations may result in immediate removal without a warning.
